Applications Engineer (San Jose, CA )

Candidate will work with design engineers, field applications team, and marketing to identify, define and debug analog IC products. Products may include, switching regulators and power management ICs for fast-growing portable markets.

Essential Job Functions:

Develop evaluation boards and application reference circuits,

Write white papers and application notes,

Provide technical support for key customers and field application engineers,

Visit customers several times per year. 

Requirements:

Self-motivated,

Previous experience in a power supply manufacturer or power management IC company desired,

Comfortable operating lab equipment, soldering and some experience with PCB design/lay-out,

Fluent communication skills in English,

Excellent writing and presentation skills.
